In 1946 she re-joined the leauge and was elected to the Punjab Assembly and the same year she went with M.A.H. Isphahani on a goodwill mission to USA where they explained the Muslim point of view. Jehan Ara was daughter of the Muslim-leauge leader, Sir. Muhammad Shafi, and lived (1896-1979)

A leader of the All Indian Muslim Leauge and daughter of it's leader Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi, member of the Assembly. In 1952 she presided over the the Assembly for the first time. Also former member of the Constituent Assembly. She lived (1896-1979)
